Daniil Grankin, Energy line Director of IT company Infotech Group, detailed in the December issue of the journal Elektroenergia(Electric Power), the current state of automation in the largest power grid companies of the country, and the trends that will determine the IT landscape of all grid companies in the near future.

Infotech Group started implementing a dispatch request management system at the Krasnogorsk branch of Mosoblenergo. The system automates the full life cycle of dispatch requests for repair and maintenance of the company’s electric grid assets.

Lenenergo, one of Russia's largest grid distribution companies, is conducting an audit of its IT infrastructure and planning to automate the key business processes. The company entrusted the analytical inspection of all the information systems operated by the production unit to Infotech Group.

The mobile app "TOPO+", developed by Infotech Group, will help experts of United Energy Company (UEC) to calculate power grid maintenance costs more accurately.

Some 400,000 streets lights are monitored by Infotech Energocomplex in Moscow. The system also reflects a large-scale urban upgrade project for outdoor lighting, which is part of the My Street urban improvement program. The streets and individual lighting facilities included in the program are under the system’s ad hoc control.
