Infotech interface designer speaks at RIW 2017

Anna Zheltova, interface design specialist of Infotech Group, took part in RIW-2017 as a speaker. The Russian interactive week that includes an exhibition, a forum and a high technologies show, brings together hundreds of companies and tens of thousands of participants every year.

According to Anna, a designer in a modern company should be versatile like a human orchestra. In her presentation, the Infotech Group specialist shared her experience in the agency and product development; spoke about working with business requirements at every stage, from the collection and registration to their use in a project, and gave practical advice to colleagues.

"A customer comes to a developing company like a patient to a doctor: he has a problem and hopes that he will be cured. However, the requirements of business enterprises and the needs of ordinary users often diverge considerably. This should be taken into account not only by the designers, but also by analysts," Anna Zheltova said.

At the session, the participants also discussed possible solutions in case there is a lack of financing for qualitative and quantitative research, and about the tools and methods that should be used by a designer. They also outlined the main risks in the life cycle of information products.
