Infotech Group will help power grid company JSC UES improve management efficiency

On September 17, 2016, Infotech Group was declared the winner of tenders held by JSC Unified Energy Company for development and implementation of IT systems.

Infotech Group has started development and implementation of a number of automated information systems for orders already received. The systems are designed to improve operations management, reduce operating costs and improve the operating efficiency of JSC UES.

Design and development of several automated systems at once by one contractor make it possible to create an integrated solution that covers the full set of infrastructure maintenance tasks and provides the energy company with a unified management environment.

Key project tasks

• Creating a single platform for collecting, dispatching and tracking orders and requests from various sources to improve response time and manageability, and to increase the scope of completed work.
• Developing an integrated solution for controlling and monitoring outdoor lighting, architectural highlighting of buildings, and distribution networks to reduce operating costs of several fragmented systems, and optimize management processes.
• Developing an accounting, monitoring and operational management system for specialized vehicles to reduce the costs of fleet maintenance and repair, increase vehicle lifetime and improve productivity at the company.

The systems being implemented will be based on an integrated product for monitoring and controlling power grid infrastructure and use of other products of the company.

JSC Unified Energy Company is Moscow’s largest power grid company involved in developing, operating and upgrading city-owned power grids. JSC UES transmits and distributes power, connects consumers to utilities and constructs new grids.
