The Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak held a working meeting on the digitization of the activities of power grid companies with the management of ROSSETI, United Energy Company (UEC) and Infotech Group. At the meeting, Mr. Novak was briefed of the capabilities of software and hardware systems developed by IT company Infotech Group. One of these grids features an equipment monitoring and diagnostics system that offers early detection of defects and helps plan activities to prevent accidents. “Thanks to artificial intelligence technology, our system ensures effective human-machine interaction and the integration of technological infrastructure into the business processes of a company,” said Daniil Grankin, Head of the Energy Department of Infotech Group. “This allows us to significantly increase the efficiency of maintenance and repairs, and as a result, to reduce the cost of operating the equipment.”

The meeting participants noted that the functionality of the above solutions is sufficient to implement measures for switching to software made in Russia. In the near future, the parties will discuss the possibility of conducting pilot projects at ROSSETI that run on software and hardware solutions presented by the Infotech Group.
