Foreign colleagues were primarily interested in solutions based on predictive analytics for the electric power industry, the possibility of detecting defects in technological equipment at an early stage and the connection of the predictive analytics system with the operation and maintenance systems of the enterprise’s electrical equipment. According to Christian Knill, CEO of Knill Energy Holding, such technologies for power grid equipment are quite promising and may become an occasion for cooperation and business development. “These systems have real economic potential, especially with regard to high-voltage networks, since there is a considerable risk of accidents, and the cost of eliminating them is very high,” said Mr. Knill. At the same time, Austrian colleagues admitted that they have never witnessed similar implementations or developments in their practice.

A meeting with Austrian partners was held as part of the Innoprom 2019 international industrial exhibition. This year, Austria also showcased a display booth at Innoprom for the first time, which once again confirmed that foreign colleagues have serious intentions about cooperating with Russian companies.
Knill Energy Holding is one of the two key divisions of the Knill Gruppe group of companies that designs and manufactures components and systems for global power infrastructure, focusing on power transmission and distribution technologies.
Bertsch Group is an enterprise with over 90 years of experience in manufacturing power industry equipment.
